Recently Ludacris appeared on the TV show "Our World With Black Enterprise" . There he discussed some of the thoughts that people in general have about hip hop and rap. He said: "I think it's a big miscommunication. People feel hip-hop is glorifying certain things when we are just talking about what's real in our everyday world" , he further explained that when rappers say swear words in their songs its just to make their point clear and also to show how people really do speak in the streets that they come from. He recently went head-to-head with Oprah about his use of the "n" word in his lyrics. He explained that this is how the streets talk and I quote "It's like a coded language. If you don't understand it, you can't be so quick to criticize."
The rapper Ludacris is know for being one of the rappers with the "dirtiest" mouths, but recently him and Mary J. Blige made a song called "Runaway Love" which focuses on bad things that happen in life, and he makes his point clear that he is against that. You can listen to the song below:
