Rap Cd Release Dates

First of all I want to apologize for not posting for quite a while, and then I want to give you an inside of some of the new rap cds that are about to come out!

First I am going to start of with the new cd from Mike Jones, The American Dream, which is schedueled to be released on April 18th 2007 which is not that far away from today, April 9th

Now I am going to go on to 50 cents future album, titled Before I Self Destruct. Fifty's new album's release date was not known until he was on the New York radio station hot 97, where he said that his album will hit the stores in about February of 2008.

These are the upcoming albums for now, if you know of another one feel free to drop a comment or post in the forum, where guest posting is allowed. Stick around for more updates on the upcoming rap albums.

Snoop Dogg Has Had Enough- Fuck Bill O'Reilly

Bill O'Reilly is known for disliking hip hop and rappers all together. He had invited Snoop Dogg's lawyer on his show and Snoop Dogg's lawyer almost snapped on him, and she should have because O'Reilly was asking for it.

Lil Flip - I Need Mine New Album

Huston rapper Lil Flip also came out with a new album called "I Need Mine" The release date for his album, just like Young Buck's, was march 27th and the album is now in stores. Lil flip is well known for his part in Chamillionaire's song called "Turn It Up". His new CD will be 2 discs. On the first dick there is a total of 20 songs, and the second one has 17 songs, so this might be a good investment if you like a lot of songs for your money.

His CD will be featuring some very well known artist, such as Rick Ross and Jim Jones. Another very big star that will be featured on his new CD is Chamillionaire. Chamillionaire and Lil Flip will be singing "Playes 4 Life" which is track number 6 in disc one, if you care to know.

Along with his new album he will be releasing videos for his singles. He has not specified any more information, but he did say that he will be releasing at least 3 videos for this album.

Young Buck - Buck The Wolrd Album Out

The new album by Young Buck entitled "Buck The World" was released on March 27 and is the new joint in the block. The album got great publicity because 50 cent and Cam'ron got into some beef and in 50's songs he mentioned how Buck The World is coming out. 50 and Buck also made a song to diss Cam'ron and I made a post about it. You can read more here. I think this will be a great album and I myself am going to buy it, and maybe you should too!

Some of the guest apearences on his CD will be made by Mr. 50 (50 cent), T.I , Young Jezzy and Bun B. Buck's CD is expected to sell 150 000 copies in its first week alone, according to HitsDailyDouble.com

Old Beef - 50 cent and Game

The Game and 50 cent have been beefing for a while now. I personally think that the Game is just salty because he got kicked off of G-Unit, and the only thing he can do about it is make songs dissing 50, which were pretty funny, but they didn't help the Game grow as a rapper. I think that tensions have gone down now, which was expected after the two shooting that were connected to the two rappers' beef. I believe that 50 had some good reasons to kick the Game off but the Game also made some good points in his songs. I will let you decide who's part you will take, but watch the video below to have the things clarified to you. The video is from MTV news.

Lil Jon - World Record

Lil Jon set a record for the world's most expensive bling! His chain, as show above, that says "crunk aint dead" has a total of 73 carats of diamonds and is worth approximately $500,000. He went down in the Guinness Book of World Records.

He is quoted as saying:
“I’m glad the Guinness World Records folks acknowledged me and my Crunk Ain’t Dead piece,” says Lil Jon. “I spent a load of money on that chain. I had no idea I would break a record and be recognized for it. It’s an honor to be included on that list. I grew up on reading and hearing about people and celebrities who break records in the Guinness World Records Book and it always fascinated me. Now that I’m on the list, it feels great. Let’s just see how many rappers try to outdo my pendant and break my record. They don’t call me the King of Crunk for nothing!”

KOCH Records Signs rapper "Styles P"

KOCH records is known for signing artists like Cam'ron and Jim Jones, and basically the whole Dipset crew. This time KOCH records signed a upcoming artist called Styles P. Styles P announced his new deal on a show on the hip hop radio station New York's Hot 97.

Styles released his first album in 2002 titled "A Gangster and a Gentleman," whit the single , "Good Times (I Get High)" and sold 700,000 copies. In 2005, he released two mixtapes, "Ghost in the Shell" and "Ghost in the Machine." In 2006 Interscope released Styles P second solo album called "Time Is Money".

So you get the idea that his guy is serious and pretty soon we might be seeing more from him.

Rappers Gone Bad - Tony YaYo Arrested

Rapper Tony YaYo was arrested in New York City on Saturday afternoon. He was charged with harassment and endangering a child's welfare.

The reason for hos arrest was that he smacked the child of a record label owner. Although the police would not give any information, the manager of Game, Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemont said that the child was the 14-year-old son of the owner of Czar Entertainment Record label/Management Firm which happens to be a ravel of YaYo and G-Unit as a whole.

Paul Wall Break 'Em Off - Music Video and Song

This video of the song "Break Em Off" is brought back because of the popular demand that we have been getting. Check below the video for more information on Paul Wall.




Paul Wall has released 1 major album so far. That album was The Peoples Champ. The album sold 1.2 million copies, and got Paul Wall the Platinum Status. His new album is going to be called " Get Money, Stay True" and is scheduled to be resealed on April 3rd. The single from that album is called "Break 'Em Off", as you saw from the video above. I think that this song is unusually good for Paul Wall because I actually like it and it seems that a lot of other people like it so I decided to bring it back.

Tupac Shakur - The Untold Story

Tupac Shakur, aka Makaveli, was a one-time dancer for the Digital Underground, but he always loved rap. His rap career began in 1991 with Digital Underground when he released his first debut song called " Same Song" . Soon enough he also released his first album called "2Pacalyps Now". His first album didn't sell well at all, until he got help from Interscope Records.



Tupac's career went good from that point on. Tupac made a lot of songs and albums, but he left a lot of them unreleased. This is when Puff Daddy and the Notorious B.I.G. saw the opportunity to make a lot of money. The opportunity here was to get rid of Pac and sell his records, to which they have the rights. Now this is not official but this is what a lot of people believe happened. People say that Puff and B.I.G. killed Pac so that they can sell his unreleased records and make lots of money because they won't have to give the artist any money. This is why Tupac was shot at in 1994 and was latter killed in another shooting in 1996.

You decide for yourself, but just to let you know, even Tupac himself said, after the 1994 shooting, that he suspects Puff Daddy and B.I.G.

Why 50 cent is not a snitch!

A lot of people say that 50 cent snitched on his buddies and they also say that they have evidence to support that. The word on the street is that 50 snitched on Prince and Preme in his song "Ghetto Qu'ran" from his debut album " Power of the Dollar". The lyrics of the song go as fallows.

Lyrics: " Yo, when you hear talk of the southside, you hear talk of the team
See niggas feared Prince and respected Preme
For all you slow muthafuckas I'm a break it down iller
See Preme was a business man and Prince was the killer..."

The part where he says that "Prince was the killer" is what people say is snitching. I highly doubt that because the cops won't take a song as evidence for someone's crimes and even if they do they would have to lock 50 up. Why 50 you think, well the song goes on and in the lyrics 50 says "As a youth, all I ever did was sell crack.."

If they took the excerpt that says that Prince is a killer then 50 should be behind bars because he "snitched on himself".

As you know 50 and Cam'ron have been beefing over a conversation on the radio. Fifty came out with a song called "Funeral Music" which made fun of Cam'ron's song "Get 'Em Girsl". Cam'ron made a sit come in return. Now 50 just killed Cam'ron by making the song "Hold On" with Young Buck, the video is bad! Watch it below:

Redman working on "Muddy Waters 2" and "How High 2"

He may not have released his highly anticipated album "Red Gone Wild" yet, but Redman is already working on two new projects.

"I'm getting back into [the studio] with Muddy Waters 2 right after Red Gone Wild. I already did two songs for it. It ain't gonna be hard, because I'm gonna take it backwards," said Radman. "I'ma find old beats that sound like it was [created] during the whole Muddy Waters era. I ain't gonna reach for the new s**t."

Redman is planning to follow-on where "Muddy Waters" left off, but said the release is only for his core fans as he only plans to manufacture and distribute a limited edition of 50,000 units.

Redman also revealed he will be making a "How High" movie sequel with long-time friend and collaborator Method Man.

"The movie is being written - same people," Redman continued. "We getting in the mix right now. It’s going to give us some leeway to do something new. I'm trying to direct the movie myself. It’s a definite go. To a n***a near you, I don't know when, but its coming."

The New Jersey rapper said he plans to start work on the film in late summer or early fall.

"I don't want to be the one to lie [about when it comes out], I gotta bad habit."

Snoop New Album : "The Big Squeeze"

Snoop Dogg just announced that his new album "The Big Squeeze" will be hitting stores on April 24 trough Doggy Style Records and Koch Records. This announcement came just after Snoop's recent legal troubles in Sweden.

Snoop's goal is to bring the West Coast back into the game. He hopes to achieve that by bringing in some fresh rappers like Azure, Westurn Union and the Warzone. Snoop is the producer of 16 of the 19 track that are on the CD.

This Album is not that important form him since he already has 9 albums and more then 15 million copies sold worldwide. This album is more of a proof for the rappers out there that Snoop is just simply better. That's it buy the CD!

Snoop Dogg Arrested Again

The rapper Snoop Dogg is know for his use of drugs and for being locked up for that quite a few times. This time he was in Sweden, where he was preforming in the city of Stockholm. He was arrested early Monday morning, at around 1:30 after his concert that he did in Stockholm. He was on his way to a after party at a nearby town when the cops found his driving suspicious and pulled him over.

The cops say that both him and his female companion showed signs of drug use so they were both taken to the police station. The police did drug tests, but the results were not given. Snoop and hos "companion" were released the day after, so I guess they didn't do drugs, but drugs were found in his car.

This is what they police said:
"He underwent some tests that will now be sent away for analysis. In two to three weeks, we'll know if he was on something."
Even of they do find something he will only be fined, because that is the punishment for drug possession in Sweden, damn I am going there...

50 cent's new album has a release date

50 Cent says that his latest album "Before I Self-Destruct" will be released Jun. 19. Fifty Cent also said that this album will be something brand new and he added that it will be better then bot of his previous albums, Get Rich or Die Tryin and The Massacre. 50 said that it will be easier for him to sell more albums now then before. You might think, how is that possible, since his first album, Get Rich or Die Tryin, sold 11 million copies and his second album, The Massacre , sold 9.5 million copies, but Fifty gave a good explanation.

"I'm getting ready to go into this project, considering that Apple is selling millions of iPods and Microsoft is coming out with competing products and Sony — everybody has something that encourages people to download material instead of purchasing the actual CD. "
That is what he said, and it is very true. So just stick around and buy his new album or not if you think that he is a snitch... you decide!

I personally think that if 50 doesn't say something about that snitchin' problem its gonna give him a bad reputation, and it already is. With a diss like that if 50 doesn't say something back he's going to be out of the rap game, and he is a good rapper, but snithchin' on your friends is not cool.

Ludacris speaks with the national TV show "Our World With Black Enterprise"

Recently Ludacris appeared on the TV show "Our World With Black Enterprise" . There he discussed some of the thoughts that people in general have about hip hop and rap. He said: "I think it's a big miscommunication. People feel hip-hop is glorifying certain things when we are just talking about what's real in our everyday world" , he further explained that when rappers say swear words in their songs its just to make their point clear and also to show how people really do speak in the streets that they come from. He recently went head-to-head with Oprah about his use of the "n" word in his lyrics. He explained that this is how the streets talk and I quote "It's like a coded language. If you don't understand it, you can't be so quick to criticize."
The rapper Ludacris is know for being one of the rappers with the "dirtiest" mouths, but recently him and Mary J. Blige made a song called "Runaway Love" which focuses on bad things that happen in life, and he makes his point clear that he is against that. You can listen to the song below:

Mike Jones Going BIG, again!

Most people that heard Mike Jones when he first blew up thought that he was a one hit wonder after he sold over 1,000,000 copies of his album "Who is Mike Jones" . Mike Jones proved everybody wrong by announcing a new album coming out. He first anounced it in a remix of a song with Bow Wow called Fresh Azimiz. You can see the video below:


Notice how at the end of verse that Mike Jones sings he says, " before I go I gotta say 1 think, April 18th the American Dream, (Mike Jones) 2x
The album that is coming out is called The American Dream. The first single of the album is called "Mr. Jones" and is already out. You can watch the video for that below.



Mike Jones also has a website which you can find at www.whomikejones.com which was not updated for a while, but recently they have put a lot of new info regarding the album and also regarding a movie that is coming out. The movie is also called The American Dream and you can see a preview below:



As you can see the movie is coming straight to DVD, sometime in April. I guess Mike spent all his money on the album and didn't have any left to run the movie in tethers. Whatever the case might be I will still watch the movie because I think it will be great, I mean at least I will know what the guy has gone trough.

So now it doesn't matter how many people say that Mike is whack, he is making a movie and is coming with a new album, he has to add another couple of millions to his bank account, and after that addition I don't think he will care about what anyone says.
